I just bought new plants to replace my veggies on our patio. I spent a couple hours on wednesday deep cleaning the patio and planting, which was very relaxing to me. I love our patio, even though what it really lacks is trees. Sigh. I yearn for tree-lined streets, shady patios, and parks with giant oaks. Living in a desert will do that to you.
