In the card aisle, I always think some of the most clever cards are the belated ones. The trouble is, I never forget birthdays. I'm not bragging, it's just something that is in me. I feel somewhat less special now that facebook, etc gives you those little reminders that so-and-so's birthday is today, followed by so-and-so's tomorrow, and dad's next week. If you remember birthdays these days, it's not like 'wow, you remembered!' but more like if you don't, where have you been?
Well, somehow I totally spaced about this blog's birthday. No big deal, really, since hardly anyone reads it. But I know that a few months ago, I was looking forward to doing a birthday blog, and then somehow the date just went underwater and only now did I think of it while reading another blog's birthday post. Ours is May 19th. At least I wasn't like five months off. And, for the record, tomorrow is Leah's birthday!!!! I did remember that, all by myself.

Awwwwww, thanks! I think one of my goals for the next year is to 'reel it in' a bit. Meaning to narrow down my blog topics to a few things... be more focused. Also, work on my writing skills. Gonna read Elements of Style by E.B. White.
