friday favourite: andrew's reclaimed

I would like to start this post by sharing my husband's music sensibility with you. For some reason, we have been receiving Rolling Stone magazine for about the last six months, for free. We think it's because of his album release and the processes of getting it up online. Anyway, we usually peruse it for a bit, then toss it in the recycle bin. Today we got another one. Here is the March 3rd, 2011 cover of Rolling Stone:

And here is our copy, as spencer handed it to me today:

Spencer's feelings about 'super boy' are pretty much my feelings about Lost- "Enough already! We get it- it's big, everyone loves it, blah blah blah. Leave some space in the world for those of us who don't!"
I am just happy someone finally did something with the kid's hair (I think maybe someone in the upper echelon of RS offered him the cover just so someone could get rid of that dopey mop look).

Ok, enough bieber bashing.

Onto some awesome etsy-ing. Our featured etsy shop today is Andrew's Reclaimed. Andrew and Melissa are the duo behind the repurposed goodies in their etsy shop. They find items "slated for demolition" and rework them in their woodshop to create beautiful home and gardening items. Melissa also has her own shop for vintage and supplies over at rabbitsreclaimed.

Here are some of my favourites from their shop:

minimalist planter box

bee house

business card holder

industrial coat hanger

cedar wood soap dish

seed starting trays

Have I got you dreaming about springtime now? Lately, I've been hearing about more and more babies on the way, so I think the season of birds and bees must be here. A baby themed friday favourite to come in the near future...

I will definitely be trying to relax between two 6-day-workweeks. Tomorrow I will be hanging out with my niece, Isabella, and making mini pizzas. I'm sure I will have some good food photos to share next week.

Have a great weekend everybody!
